Here at Jimmie Davis Animal Hospital, our Bossier City veterinarian team, with years of experience and a dedication, are prepared to provide your pet with the finest care possible. We have a state-of-the-art laboratory that allows us to serve the community as a full service animal hospital, and we take pride on being a top choice for those seeking veterinary services in Bossier City.

While our veterinary clinic is relatively small, we are big on service, which is just one reason we have been in business since 1985 providing animal care in Northeast Louisiana. We offer most of the services pet owners need ranging from wellness exams and pet vaccinations to pet dental and surgical services. Let us be your veterinarian of choice and experience the difference that over three decades of experience makes.

Available Pet Care Services at Our Bossier City Veterinarian

We specialize in treating canines and felines here at Jimmie Davis Animal Hospital. However, we do have select veterinarians who can see other animals, such as rabbits, reptiles, birds, small farm animals and pocket pets. We ask that you let us know when you schedule your appointment if you require a specialist for your pet, so we can adequately meet your needs.

Some of the most common services we offer, include preventive health care through annual wellness examinations, routine pet vaccinations, and pet dental care. These are all important aspects for your pet’s health and wellbeing. During exams, our veterinarian will look for any signs of dermatological or ophthalmological problems, check for parasites, document vital signs, and may take some samples to check for vital organ functions.

Veterinary Treatment Options We Offer

In addition to wellness exams, pet vaccinations and pet dental services, we offer complete diagnostics in our high-tech lab, which makes us able to also handle emergency cases, in addition to routine surgical services like soft tissue and minor orthopedic surgeries. We can diagnose and treat ear infections, skin conditions, and allergies in pets. We have our own pharmacy that makes getting medications, flea and tick solutions, and prescription pet foods all available and convenient. If you need emergency treatment, we encourage you to call us right away for assistance. We typically have veterinarians available to meet most emergency needs.
